Senate rejects Buhari's $29.96bn loan request

The Senate has rejected the consideration of a request by President Muhammadu Buhari for a $29.9bn External Borrowing Rolling Plan over a period of three years.

The senate voted down the loan during plenary on Tuesday, November 1.
