Boy Found Dead In Kebbi After Going For A Swim On New Year's Day
Panic has been stirred in Argungu community in Kebbi state after the corpse of a young boy was found floating on a river in the area on New year's day. According to Jafaru Zager, who shared this, the boy who was full of life -had gone to swim in the river but never returned the same way. Photos of the dead boy has been shared online in order to properly identify him and locate his relatives. May his soul rest in peace.
Kogi Gov Visits Lt. Col. Abu Ali’s Family, Gives Scholarship For 3 Children Left Behind
Kogi State Governor, Alhaji Yahaya Bello has promised the family of late Lt. Col Muhammad Abu Ali that the state government will take responsibility for the education of his three children up to university level.
Bello made this promise yesterday when he paid a condolence visit to the family of late Abu Ali in Kaduna.
The governor, who accompanied by the Speaker of Kogi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Umar Ahmed Imam commiserated with Mrs Samira Abu Ali and her children. He promised not to forget the family.
Bello was on a 2-weeks break when the fallen hero was killed by insurgents while on national duty. On his return to Kogi State, the governor paid a condolence visit on the father of the slain soldier, HRH Brigadier General Abu Ali (Rtd) in his palace at Bassa.
Governor Bello extended his condolence to all families and loved ones of all who have lost their lives in the battle against terrorism and called on the federal government to improve the welfare of military personnel who are giving everything they have to protect Nigeria’s territorial integrity.
He urged the federal government not to forget the families of those who have died in active service.

Medical doctors at the Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital (NAUTH) Nnewi, Anambra State, are in dilemma over the condition of a baby born recently without anus to determine the sex of the baby.
And in order to excrete urine and feces,the doctors had to perforate the baby's abdomen to eliminate waste.
NNPC - No plans to increase pump price to N150
NNPC last week adjusted the pump price of petrol at its mega stations nationwide from N141 to N145. In a statement released by the groups General Manager for Public Affairs, Garba Deen Muhammed, the corporation reacted to the increase and also denied claims of planning to increase pump price to N150 per liter.
