10 Things You MUST Know About Dating A Girl In Her Late 20s

Fuckboys need not apply. For the most part, I’d agree with that whole “age is just a number” saying … except where dating is involved. And particularly if you’re dating a girl in her late twenties.

In fact, if you’re used to dating fresher meat, you’re probably in for a rude awakening. As in, you’ll need to up your game, and be prepared to be called on your bullishit If you’re falling for a girl in her late 20s, here are a few things you should know.

1. She doesn’t need you. She’s used to doing it all herself. She’s got a trick for opening jars that are stuck, a step stool for changing that ceiling light, and she’s gotten pretty damn good at putting together furniture that comes in 1,000 pieces from Ikea. She’s used to not asking for help, so she won’t.

If you want to lend her a hand, don’t ask her. Just reach up and change that light bulb when you see her coming through with the step stool.

2. She lives a full life. She’s got friendships that date back over a decade, a job that’s well past entry level, and hobbies that she’s been at for years. It’s not that she doesn’t want to see you; it’s just that she’s not about to break her Thursday happy hour traditions just because you showed up and fell in love with her.

3. She doesn’t want games. She just doesn’t have the time. You’ll know how she’s feeling because she’ll tell you, like a grown up. And she’ll expect you to do the same.

4. She knows what she wants. If she’s in love with you too, you’ll know, because she’ll be consistent. She’ll text you back in a reasonable amount of time and won’t be wishy-washy about making plans.

5. Her wild party days are behind her. Not to say that she won’t turn up on a Saturday night, but she’s over the FOMO and will choose to spend the night in when she needs it.

8. She will drag you to a LOT of weddings. Her friends are all getting married and she’s going to be thrilled to have a dependable plus one to bring along with her for the celebration. Hope you don’t have any plans this spring.

9. She’ll occasionally talk about an ex, and that shouldn’t freak you out. If you’re dating a girl in her late 20s, chances are she’s been through a few serious relationships. So rather than tell you about the time she backpacked through Europe and leave you to ask, “Who’d you go with?” she’s just going to straight up tell you. Not because she wants to set up expectations or draw comparisons, but because she has big life experiences that she wants to tell you about.

10. It’s not going to be easy. In her early 20s, she’d fall in love easily and put everything she had into it. But there’s a quota on how many times you can love like that before you start to guard your heart, and by her late 20’s she’s likely hit that mark. You’ll have to prove to her that you’re interested in her for the long term, not just something for right now.

If you love a girl in her late 20s, she’ll be the real deal. You’ll be dating a grown a*s woman who won’t keep you guessing, but will still manage to surprise you the more you fall for her.

We’re trying hard to create better relationships in the world. But we can’t do it without YOU! Did this feature help you better yourself or your relationship? You can change someone else’s life too

Facebook Data center

The Data center opened in 2013, and was our first outside the US. Wherever possible, we used the beautiful wood and art of the area to showcase local craftsmanship.

I love this shot because it looks like a sci-fi movie. These enormous fans draw in the outside air to cool the tens of thousands of servers in the data hall. In the winter, when temperatures plunge to -30 degrees the situation is reversed, and the heat from the servers warm the massive buildings.

The main data hall is so big that engineers move around on scooters.

The equipment is reduced to its basics so it runs cooler. It can also be easily accessed and repaired quickly. A few years ago, it took an hour to repair a server hard drive. At Luleå, that’s down to two minutes.

“Look at these racks, the network devices, the cabling. Everything is like reference model!”

It is important for people to know that nothing leaves the site and their data is safe. The old drives are destroyed."

Student Suspended for Posting Photo of Nasty School Water Online

When teens get in trouble for posting things online, there’s often something nefarious afoot, like drunken antics, offensive behavior, or criminal activity. But for one high school student, publicly calling out her school’s nasty water situation was apparently enough to do the trick.

Hazel Juco, a senior at John Glenn High School in Westland, Michigan, recently posted a photo on Twitter and Facebook of the water situation in one of the building’s bathrooms. And boy, it didn’t look great!
Soon afterwards, she was slapped with out-of-school suspension, apparently because the photo was an “inappropriate use of electronics in the restroom,” she told the local ABC news station. (She also showed the photo to her newspaper class.)

But she argued that her classmates took photos all the time in the school bathrooms—a claim backed up when some started tweeting selfies they’d apparently taken in the school bathrooms—and never got in trouble.

“Every girl takes selfies in the bathroom and makes it their profile pictures,” she told WXYZ. “No one has gotten in trouble.”

When the station called the school district, superintendent Michele Harmala—probably sensing the explosion of terrible publicity the incident would spark—said the suspension was unwarranted. “The punishment is inappropriate. I am going to make sure the out of school suspension is expunged from the student’s record,” she said.

What may be worse than the suspension, however, is the fact that high school administrators apparently didn’t do anything about the dirty water, and Harmala herself reported the issue—a pipe that needed replacing—to maintenance. According to WXYZ, the issue is being addressed, so at least Juco will be vindicated in that regard.

According to Harmala, reporting issues directly is a better solution than posting evidence online, because it’s likely to prompt a quicker fix. And by coincidence it saves the school some embarrassment, too.

Facebook Censors Palestinian Journalists for No Reason

Over the weekend, Facebook scrambled to make things right after mistakenly locking out administrators from two of the most widely read Palestinian news outlets.

The company has recently struggled with censorship on its platform. It frequently removes posts that have news value and then blames the deletions on moderation errors, saying that its team processes million of reports of abuse a week. Facebook has a point insofar as the company has to deal with billions of posts, but this latest censorship dust up is particularly weird because it’s just not clear what, if anything, the offending publications did to warrant attention.
On Friday, editors at Shehab News Agency, which has 6.3 million likes on Facebook, and at Quds News Network, which has 5.1 million likes on Facebook, were locked out of their Facebook accounts and unable to post to their respective pages. Not all editors were locked out, so both pages were able to continue posting updates.

In an interview with Gizmodo, Raja Abdulhaq, co-founder and editor of Quds, said that Facebook never provided any explanation as to why the accounts were disabled, and that it took a full day for Facebook to restore the accounts. At Quds, a total of four editors had their Facebook accounts suspended.

“We know of three more mainstream networks that had the same issue,” Abdulhaq said. “We are verified media outlet on Facebook so we would expect the company to give us a little more respect.”

Editors at both publications told The Electronic Intifada that they believe the suspension of their accounts is linked to Facebook’s collaboration with Israel on an effort to crack down on posts that Israel believes incite violence. “It is very strange that Facebook would take part in such an agreement given that it is supposed to be a platform for free expression and journalism,” Ezz al-Din al-Akhras of Quds told The Electronic Intifada. The details on the agreement between Israel and Facebook are sparse, though Facebook has said the policy is meant to combat terrorism and extremism online.

In a statement provided to The Electronic Infitada on Saturday, Facebook apologized for the suspensions saying “The pages were removed in error, and restored as soon as we were able to investigate.” The statement is odd given that no pages were actually deleted. The company did not immediately respond to a request for comment and clarification from Gizmodo.

How to root Samsung Galaxy J7

If you own Samsung Galaxy J7, there is every reason to root it. Once you root Samsung Galaxy J7 , you can get a lot more out of your phone. For example, you can increase battery life, improve system speed and even change the way your core Android system looks. Although this rooting won’t change Samsung Galaxy J7 specification, it would improve its overall performance a great deal.
Why use this rooting technique?

Rooting Samsung J7 is easy, especially if you have already rooted Samsung Galaxy J5. It’s essentially the same rooting procedure with a few twists and tricks. This is kind of a universal rooting technique for J7 as you can use it on any firmware. There are plenty of other reasons to use this technique.

  •     You can use it to root Samsung Galaxy J7 running any firmware. So every time you upgrade your firmware or install a custom ROM, you can come back to this method and root your device again. You don’t have to look for a new method every time. I suggest you bookmark it if you plan to play around with your device.
  •     It’s an easy procedure. There are no risks if you follow along with care. It’s true that rooting will void your warranty but I’m sure you have already thought about it if you have decided to root Samsung Galaxy J7.
  •     You can unroot your phone at any time if you use this rooting method. I will give you guys an unrooting tutorial as soon as I get back to J7. For now, I’m going back to my Infinix devices and giving you some more tutorials on new upgrades that just got here.
How to root Samsung Galaxy J7 – Summary

To root your phone, you simply need to flash a custom recovery image and then run the root exploit. The root exploit you will use in this method is CF Auto Root.  Once you root your phone, you can always unroot it later to take advantage of OTA updates. For this tutorial to work, you will first need to install a custom recovery image. You can easily install TWRP recovery on any Samsung phone.
How to root Samsung Galaxy J7 – Step by step procedure

Step 1

Download CF Auto Root. You will need this root exploit to root Samsung Galaxy J7. Once you have downloaded the file, move it to your desktop.

Step 2

Connect your device with your PC. Use a USB cable to establish a connection.

Once the connection is established, move CF Auto Root zip file to your device. Don’t unzip this file.

Step 3

Now you are going to start flashing your phone so make sure it is charged above 50%. You don’t want to brick your phone only because you forgot to charge it before flashing it.

Restart your phone and go to recovery mode. Remember, this tutorial assumes that you have already installed TWRP or another custom recovery on your phone.

Once you see the recovery menu, go to ‘install’. It will ask you to provide path to the file. Browse to the CF Auto Root zip file. Now start the flashing process and wait.

Once your device is flashed with CF Auto Root, reboot it. It should be rooted now

Step 4

In case your phone doesn’t come out of a boot loop after you flash CF Auto root, you need to wipe data and reset phone to factory settings from recovery. Additionally, you may have to wipe cache as well to get out of boot loop.

Repeat the procedure from step 1. Hopefully, there will be no boot loop this time.

5 Android apps you shouldn’t miss this week

1.Samsung’s Milk Music was finally put to rest this last week. As of September 22nd, the service is no longer available for download or use. It shouldn’t surprise anyone because this was announced a couple of months ago. Prior Milk Music users will get a 14-day free trial for Slacker Radio since that was the service that powered Milk Music. It’s still available in China and South Korea for now, but it won’t last forever there either.

2.A study was released late last week that showed that 13% of all users downloaded 50% of all apps. That makes a lot of sense because us early adopters can and will frolic from one app to the next to see if it’s any good. Another interesting stat is that 49% of people surveyed for this study didn’t download a single app during the survey period. On average, people interested in apps download about 3.5 per month.

 3. Google is formally rolling out AMP, or accelerated mobile pages, to everyone all around the world starting this week. For those who don’t know, AMP is a project to help pages load much more quickly and take up far less data than their non-AMP counterparts. Google boasts that they’ve done up 600 million AMP sites in 232 regions. The only other thing of note is that this won’t change the search results at all so you’ll still see the same searches.

 4. Yahoo sent out an email this week to tell everyone about a data leak all the way from 2014. On top of being massively late, Yahoo also revealed that they believe the culprit behind the hacks was a “state sponsored actor” and that it was more than just account passwords that got taken. They didn’t mention which state or country the attack originated in, but there are really only a handful that target US based companies like Yahoo anyway. Of course, that also doesn’t explain why it took them two years to tell us anyway.

   5. The latest Humble Bundle is now live! This time around the bundle is based around Artifex Mundi games for both PC and mobile. You can pay whatever you want and get three games, beat the average and get six total games, or pay more than $5 and get every game in the bundle. There are some good titles here and it’s also a great way to donate to charity and play some games at the same time.

Dad sparks outrage after he cooks and eats his wife's placenta

A father, 32 year old Ross Watson, has sparked outrage after posting a video of himself eating his wife's placenta as part of his breakfast, just a week after his son was delivered. He even added pepper and brown sauce to the placenta, declaring that it was "edible and nutritious".

In the video, Watson sits down at a dining table with a raw piece of placenta on a plate, and a normal English breakfast plate of beans, sausages and toast. See the photos after the cut...

Cristiano Ronaldo and his mum react after he is substituted by coach Zinedine Zidane for 1st time in Real Madrid career

Cristiano Ronaldo reacted angrily after he was tactically substituted for the first time in his Real Madrid career in the 2-2 draw with Las Palmas over the weekend.

Ronaldo who recently came back from injury endured a frustrating evening as he failed to score and was shocked to be taken off in the 72nd minute of the La Liga clash - a decision that backfired after Sergio Araujo scored a late equaliser to force a 2-2 draw.
The Portuguese was visibly unhappy as he walked off the pitch and barely acknowledged coach Zinedine Zidane, prompting his mother Dolores Aveiro to tweet a picture of her son from Real's bench, with the caption: 'Never lower your head'.
Real Madrid coach Zidane meanwhile has denied he took off Ronaldo because he was playing badly, saying he took him of bcause he needed him to rest ahead of Tuesday's champions league encounter.

'I did not take Cristiano off because he was playing badly, but because we play another game on Tuesday and he has to rest.'Zidane said.

He was playing well, like the others, but I had to think about Tuesday. We have a game on Tuesday and I thought it was the time to take him off, 20 minutes from the end, thinking about Tuesday,' added Zidane.

I know he always wants to play and always wants to stay on the field, but I also have to think about the players and for me it was best to rest and think about Tuesday,

Why You Shouldn't Marry A Lady Raised By A Single Parent

I am not saying ladies raised by single parents are all bad, you may get lucky finding some exceptional ladies raised by single mums. Evidently you seldom find single men raising a child but it's quite prevalent with the opposite sex.

A relation of mine was dating this lady and when the time came for the union to be made official, his parents advised him to discontinue becos after they had made enquiries and investigation they discovered the lady's mother left her husband many years ago over some frivolous reasons. Then I asked my uncle why did he side with family and not allow his son take the bold step then he said:

1. Women raised by single parent (mother) are usually strong willed hence may end up like their mother.

2. A lady who has seen no need for a father will be swift to end a union because she will have the courage to train her children alone afterall she was raised by a mum.

3. How will she get marital advice from her mum when things are tough and you know ladies often run to their mum when they need advice (remember the mother took the easy way out)

4. Sooner or later my son may become a bachelor again...the odd is high and is glaring..

5. A lady who have spent 21 years of her life without a father cannot be psychologically stable even if she appears to be.

6. Ladies raised by single parents did not experience the beautiful and ugly part of the union called marriage from her parents hence they don't have their parents as their role model.

7. Amin (as he fondly calls me) when the baton gets to you, look at the mother of your fiancèe closely because with time she will display those traits you observed in the mother......

Then I asked him what if the lady's father is dead and the mum decided to train her alone?...my uncle said we may also enquire about the untimely death of the father but "Amin that is a topic for another day"......

Chocolate City Drags Brymo To Court Over N20 Million

Chocolate City has dragged Brymo to court over N20 million invested in him. According to the management, Brymo only yielded N3 million before breaching his contract.

As reported by PremiumTimes,

“In a court document deposed at the Lagos Division of the Federal High Court, Brymo (the defendant) accused his former label of short-changing him, saying he never received any advance as agreed in his contract for the development of the album Son of A Carpenter.

“The plaintiff (Chocolate City) on many occasions told the defendant that it would give him a release from the contract and then change its mind,”Brymo said.

“The defendant was never paid any royalties on the album Son of A Carpenter nor was he ever given a stated amount of the monies expended by them for the album.

“An email dated 14th May 2013 from the defendant clearly stated that the defendant is owed the sum of N925, 555.83 for the
album Son of A Carpenter.”

Brymo also accused his former label of failing to employ a manager for him, transferring one they earlier gave to him to another artiste, and forcing him to single-handedly employ and pay his own manager.

“The defendant never provided a platform for it to release another album, as it did not have the means to do so,”said Brymo.

“It is based on the breach that the defendant wants to be released from the contract so he can continue with his career independent of the label.”

The label claims it paid for, on the singer’s behalf, every recording cost it authorzed and for which a prior approcal was sought and obtained by the singer.

“It is a notorious fact in Nigeria music industry that most artists will fritter away the approved budget if same is handed over to them without producing any commercially and technically satisfactory Master recordings,”

Chocolate City stated in its deposition before the court.

“The artists are mostly not business inclined.

“The plaintiff avers that it has advanced and expended almost N20 million on the defendant but has not recoup (sic) up to N3 million.”

The label also accused Brymo of failure to actualise his career potential due to inability to“follow simple instructions”, insubordination, and active/passive promotion of Indian hemp which caused“serious damages to his brand and that of the plaintiff and other artists in the stable of the plaintiff”.

“The defendant’s active and passive promotion of drugs/marijuana included posting of pictures of Indian hemp/marijuana on his Twitter handle, Facebook or Instagram,”the label said.

“It got so bad that no reputable company was ready or willing to give him an endorsement deal, thereby deny (sic) himself and the plaintiff good revenue.

“In fact, a major telecommunication company in Nigeria suddenly pulled out of an endorsement deal worth N20 million which the plaintiff was negotiating for the defendant and which would have earned the plaintiff about N10 million.”

However, Chocolate City is asking for N100 million in damages while Brymo’s lawyers want the court to strike out the case because it lacked enough backing.
